REHAB BUILT FOR CROSSFITTERS

If you’ve ever tried to find a physical therapist who actually understands athletes, you know how frustrating that can be. You either end up with someone who just gives you easy exercises and tells you to “rest,” or someone who doesn’t fully understand the demands of your training.

 

And if you do CrossFit, it’s even harder.

 

Because CrossFit comes with the extra baggage of being called “dangerous” or “too intense.” So instead of getting a plan to help you keep training, you end up feeling like you have to defend why you want to keep doing it.

 

So you feel stuck between two options: stop training completely to rest, or keep training and hope it doesn’t get worse.

CrossFit Physical Therapy gives you a third option.

You won't be told to stop training by default. Your plan starts with where you are and builds you back to what you actually need to do in the gym.

So instead of random, low-level exercises, you get a plan that progresses with you and fits into your training.

Whether it’s shoulder pain with overhead lifts or knee pain with squats and jumps, you get a plan that helps you keep training without guessing.

How I'm Different

Traditional physical therapy clinics require you to rearrange your life around their schedule. In addition to coordinating your schedule with their limited availability, you also have to factor in driving time and waiting.

Getting rehab used to mean having to choose between doing a rehab session or working out that day.

​

I built my model to work the other way around.

​

With remote physical therapy, your rehab plan fits into your schedule, not the clinic’s. Your program is designed to complement your training, not compete with it. You complete targeted, efficient sessions on your own time (often 20 minutes or less), whether that’s before or after a workout or built directly into your warm-up.

​

You still get expert guidance, structured progression, and ongoing accountability, all without the commute or sacrificing training time.

​

This is physical therapy designed to be time-efficient and realistic for busy crossfitters.

Common Symptoms I Treat

  • Neck pain or stiffness

  • Shoulder pain with lifting or pressing overhead

  • Elbow or wrist pain with exercise 

  • Low back pain with lifting

  • Hip pain with squatting or running

  • Knee pain with squatting, jumping, or running

  • Ankle or foot pain with jumping or running

Common Diagnoses I Work With

  • Tendinopathies (Achilles, patellar, biceps, etc.)

  • Rotator cuff injuries or tears

  • Arthritis (hip, knee, shoulder)

  • Labral injuries (hip, shoulder)

  • Post-surgical rehab (ACL, rotator cuff, meniscus, joint replacement)

  • Overuse injuries 

All programs begin with a movement assessment. Exercises for your rehab program are delivered virtually along with instructions and videos. Minimum time commitment for exercises is 20 minutes a day, 3 times a week.
