ABOUT
My mission is to empower you to take control of your physical health.

DR. KELSEY CHANGSING, PT, DPT
Physical Therapist, Owner
I started Anteater Physical Therapy and Performance after experiencing the frustrations of traditional physical therapy both as a patient myself and as a physical therapist.
As an athlete, I often felt like I had to hide how much I trained because I knew I would be told to “just stop training” instead of getting help returning to the activities I cared about. I experienced first hand how we, as athletic adults, are often misunderstood in traditional rehab settings.
After becoming a physical therapist, I realized the system itself was part of the problem. Traditional insurance-based physical therapy is often designed to get people back to basic daily activities, not back to lifting, running, competing, or performing at a high level. I became frustrated by rushed care, long clinic visits, lack of continuity between sessions, and seeing active people fall through the cracks before fully returning to the activities they loved.
That frustration led me to create a practice built specifically for athletic adults who want rehab that fits into their lives and supports long-term performance.
My approach combines orthopedic, performance, and pelvic floor physical therapy with a strong focus on efficiency and individualized care. Instead of spending hours in a clinic each week, my clients receive focused rehab plans that integrate into their existing training routines as warm-ups or cool-downs. Through remote and hybrid care, I provide ongoing guidance, accountability, and plan progressions so clients can confidently return to training without rehab taking over their lives.
The Athlete Behind the PT
How I walk the walk
I’ve been an athlete for most of my life, starting with tennis and swimming in high school before getting into CrossFit during college. What started as training for Air Force ROTC fitness tests eventually turned into a long-term passion for movement and pushing my physical limits.
CrossFit became a major part of my life and helped shape how I approach both training and rehab today. More recently, I’ve expanded into endurance sports and now train for triathlons and HYROX events as well. Being both a physical therapist and an athlete gives me firsthand experience balancing training, injury management, recovery, and real life.

The Woman Behind the Athlete
Outside of work, I’m usually training for my next race, spending time with my husband and daughter, or watching YouTube videos while working on some kind of craft project. Lately that’s been hand embroidery, although I still occasionally crochet amigurumi (plushies) if I come across a pattern I really want to make.
I know firsthand how difficult it can be to balance training, recovery, work, and family life, which is why I’m passionate about helping athletes find realistic rehab solutions that actually fit into their schedules.
