I started with Kelsey after I began my crossfit journey. Something I always struggled with was an imbalance in my leg strength. It was something that for years plagued me and I never even thought it was possible to fix. Kelsey took a detailed look at my movements, mobility, balance, and existing strength. Kelsey then crafted a program specifically tailored to me. The program started with some simple and “basic” movements, however I quickly discovered they were fundamental pieces I never developed and were one of the root causes of my struggles. Once the fundamentals were in place I finally gained strength and balance in my feet, ankles, and legs that I never experienced before!
I was able to fix my gait making all walking/running easier and was able to hit new PR’s on barbell squats; pushing past what I previously thought was possible.
The program was spread out through the week and Kelsey provided detailed information on how to do the movements. Kelsey was very patient with me and she gave me the best encouragement whenever I was getting flustered or when I felt I wasn’t going to be able to accomplish the next goal.
I have had physical therapy before, but it was never to the quality Kelsey provided. Kelsey is a pro at her craft and I will continue to see to her in the future when I want to address deficiencies in my body/movement and will also encourage others to seek out her training. In summation: If you have an area you want to strengthen or regain proficiency back in then Kelsey is simply one of the best!"

"When I came to Kelsey, I had been struggling with chronic knee and hip pain on the right side of my body. I had completed two rounds of PT with another group in the past but the pain never fully went away and, on occasion, was worse. Kelsey sat down with me and completed a full evaluation of my knees and hips. her questioning also dug deep to find out my overall fitness goals.
I followed the weekly prescribed activities and felt much better within a few weeks. I would still experience occasional pain, but it did not last nearly as long, and everyday activities were still possible. Kelsey checked in weekly and used my feedback to tailor the following week's activities. I have received compliments from people as they have watched me perform activities I haven't been able to do in years! Not only do I physically feel better, but I am also more confident in the gym. "First, I want to express my gratitude to Coach Kelsey for getting me through my injuries this year. As a healthcare worker, when someone is in pain, the first thing a provider treats them with is pain medicine.
After consulting with Kelsey regarding my persistent back injuries, she introduced the concept of dry needling. I had my doubts in the beginning, but this therapy really works! She pinpointed exactly where my pain was and used needles to relieve the pain along with stimulation.
She is very skilled and knowledgeable about this. I can’t recommend dry needling and her physical therapy services enough. If you are suffering from pain from repeated impact from working out, this is the therapy to try! I felt immediate pain relief after our sessions.
